Interactive Marketing & Promotions in Entertainment

While at the Game Show Network (GSN), Kristi held a hybrid role under both Marketing and Interactive departments, as she was adept both with technology and marketing, and could easily partner with the cross-functional teams of designers and developers to ensure the various campaigns and programs launched successfully. In this role, Kristi began to deep dive into customer data and analysis, database and interactive multi-channel marketing, CRM, customer loyalty and promotions. She completed the training for various analytics tools we used, including Google Analytics and Coremetrics. GSN began segmenting their database for CRM purposes, and A/B testing email drop dates, creative variations and subject lines. There was a heavy focus on user and viewer acquisition, and the team ran many promotions with mobile and email opt-in to help grow their database. In this role, Kristi was designated the lead on all mobile interactive marketing campaigns, and spearheaded a $2M integrated ad campaign, awarding $100K in prizes for the network’s first interactive/mobile trivia sweepstakes, StarFace and Chain Reaction.
